LUDGER THUILOT
Ludger Thuilot showed his talent for painting even during infancy. He was born in Bocholt (Germany) in 1960, and his gift for depicting things and objects plastically led him to classic art. He found wide acceptance with his ironic and sarcastic portraitures and self-portraits.
He became apprentice as wood carver in 1978, and he inaugurated his first gallery and art studio ten years later. Since 1999, he has lived and worked in Germany near the Dutch border on a farm. Here he fitted out an art studio.
His remarkable talent as a painter and his sculptural abilities and skills enable him to give form to expressive work, which reflects a good sense of Zeitgeist and trends. Plastic, complex backgrounds, combining unusual painting techniques with modern colours give a remarkable and intensive message to Ludger Thuilot`s work.
Due to his experimental techniques of working and his continuous search for something new, Ludger Thuilot will have several surprises in store in future.
